The USMLE Step 1 Unlocked Talk featuring speaker Abhimanyu Arora consisted of an informative session of advice on preparing and utilizing high-yield resources to take the Step 1 exam. He gave firsthand experience and a personal timeline on how he prepared for the exam and how to balance between various curriculums, as well as study methods revolving around organization, active learning, and question banks. Abimanyu also gave detailed topics that were emphasized on the exam for many subjects, including pathology and pharmacology and explained the percentage of each content tested. Throughout the session, he encouraged the audience to be interactive and answered questions such as on how to start using Uworld or how to balance between learning content and doing question blocks. This session gave MBBS students important insight and advice on building studying strategies and helped them gain a new perspective on how to balance a rigorous curriculum.
