FIMSO

On October 18th, 2025, FIMSO got an exclusive visit to the Shanghai Donglei Brain Hospital (上海冬雷脑科医院), a leading neurosurgery center in Shanghai. FIMSO toured the facility with Dr. Mohamed Helmy, and met with members of the neurosurgery team such as Prof. Song Donglei, Dr. Youngjin Park, and others. Afterwards, four FIMSO members were selected to shadow Dr. Helmy for neurosurgery. Lastly, the visit concluded with an insight into surgical workflow, technology, and protocols with a visit of the operating theatre.
