The examination deferral application must be completed and submitted within 3 days after the end of the course exam.

Reasons For Examination Deferral

• Conflict in final exam time of the school course
• Leaving school early due to governmental exchange
• Suffering from a serious illness or accidental disability

Procedure for applying for deferred examination are as follow:

1. Inform the academic affairs teacher of the department offering the course by phone or email before the start of the final exam. If you do not know the person, inform your class monitor and/or your counselor. 
2. Log into ehall and search for “缓考申请”
3. Upload the relevant supporting materials and other attachments
   • Deferral due to serious illness or accidental disability require medical records (病历) and a stamped leave of absence slip (请假条) from Class II Grade A or above hospital.
4. Inform the academic affairs teacher of the department offering the course, the class monitor, and/or the counselor about the submission of the application.
5. The dean or department head of the college or department offering the course will review whether to approve the student’s deferred examination
6. After the college or department agrees, the student shall take the deferred examination within the specified time.
7. The time and place of the deferred examination shall be announced by the college system after arrangement

Those who fail to complete the application procedure for deferred examination and failure to take the final examination shall be deemed as absent.
Those who fail the deferred examination results (including failing due to absence from deferred examination), the school will no longer accept their make-up examination application.
