The Physical Health Examination is a necessary procedure once you’ve arrived in China, as it is required for the application of the Residence Permit.

Who Needs It?

• International Students with an X1 Visa
• International Students who apply for Residence Permit for the first time
• International Students whose residence permit have expired for 3 months and have to reapply for it

Required Documents

• Passport (Original & Copy)
• Visa page with entry stamp (Original & Copy)
• 健康申请表 Health application form (Print out after making an appointment)
• 知情同意书 Informed consent form (Print out after making an appointment)
• Admission letter (Copy)
• 3x Passport photo (Available on site, paid)

Cost

• 500RMB for the physical evaluation
• 70-400RMB for Verification of a Physical Examination performed in home country

Procedure

1. Book an appointment at https://sithc.shhgtsc.org.cn or through the Shanghai International Travel Healthcare Center WeChat mini-program

2. Print out the appointment information
3. Go to the appointment
4. Return to the location on the day shown on your paper slip to retrieve the results
5. Pay in cash, Alipay, or WeChat pay
